This article describes the usefulness of local history research on medical topics for the education of medical students. The historical heritage provides the basis for patriotic education of students, as it focuses their attention on the famous and forgotten names of compatriot physicians who have made a significant contribution to the development of medicine. The experience of local history research carried out not by professional historians and local historians, but by teachers and students of the department in the Crimea is described.
The Crimea has a rich historical and cultural heritage and great potential for local history work. There is a tendency to popularize knowledge about local history and to make thematic excursions by both professional and amateur local historians.

The article deals with the problem of job satisfaction and leadership style. Satisfaction with the work of the staff is considered as a determining factor in creating mental comfort in the team and ensuring high satisfaction with the work of subordinates.

The article presents the results of a study of the relationship between psychological well-being and value orientations of the individual. The results of the study showed that in the sample of average adulthood among specialists working with the use of computer technology, there are no differences between the level of normative ideals and the level of social priorities. These specialists in everyday life try to adhere to their views and beliefs, and not to be led by the social environment. Half of the studied sample has high indicators of positive relationships, average indicators of personal growth, fairly high indicators of self-acceptance. The highest in the sample is the indicator of autonomy, which confirms personal maturity in the analyzed age period. Almost half of the employees have a high level of psychological well-being, which reflects the satisfactory quality of interpersonal relationships and achievements.

Considering trending attraction of young candidates to scientific research work a brief guide is presented to assist them in preparation of completed work in the shortest possible time, in selection of the appropriate journal, and in publication of the results in journals of the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
