In order to study and understand the main medical disciplines, which are mainly conceptual in nature, foreign students must be proficient in medical terminology. One of the effective methods of teaching medical terminology to foreign students is mind-mapping. Using this graphic organizer gives teachers the opportunity to show the relationship between concepts and content in a very visual and non-linear structure.
