Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of university students’ ideas about patriotism, about the events of the Great Patriotic War. The results of the study showed a high level of patriotism among students, the respondents consider the Great Patriotic War as a world historical event that retains its significance in the modern world; educational institutions as the main source of information about the events of the Great Patriotic War. In this context, taking into account the dynamically changing situation and the age characteristics of young people in this context, a special place in the university should be given to the study of humanitarian disciplines, organization and conduct of actions, participation of students in the search movement, turning to the history of their family, university, country.

Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of university students’ ideas about physical culture, health and a healthy lifestyle; the results of the study showed that the ideas of a healthy lifestyle among the interviewed students reflect the most common images in the mass consciousness and existing in everyday representations - “physical culture and sports” and “rejection of bad habits”. The social (category “possession of safe behavior skills”) and psychological aspects (category “positive emotions”) of ideas about a healthy lifestyle are present in a tenth of the surveyed students of the sample. In our opinion, the physical, social and psychological aspects of health and healthy life are little known to respondents and require the involvement of specialists to reduce the gap in respondents’ knowledge about these aspects of health.

Abstract
In this paper, a theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem of developing the information and educational environment of a higher educational institution is carried out, the features of online learning and learning using distance forms are considered; the concept of academic success of students of higher educational institutions is considered in the context of blended learning. It is assumed that the regulatory attributes of the professional self-awareness of future specialists can determine the academic performance of a student.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the use of problem-situational training at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics of KSMU. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of creating real clinical situational tasks, as a form of enhancing the practical activities of students. Examples of clinical situational tasks have been developed that contribute to the development of clinical thinking and professional competence. The authors conclude that in the current situation, the use of problem-situational training at the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics is not only appropriate, but also necessary.

Abstract
The relevance of the study is caused by the rapid change in higher education. The article deals with the issue of research activity. It is assumed that the research activity of technical students is a factor in improving the quality of education. The subject of the study is the research activity of students. Research activity consists in writing reports and making presentations, their defense at the scientific conference “Military and Scientific Society of Cadets and Students” (MSSCS) of the Black Sea Higher Naval School named after P.S. Nakhimov (BSHNS). The assumption made above was confirmed by conducting an experimental study on the basis of BSHNS. To conduct experimental work in the classroom on the discipline “Foreign language”, students, in cooperation with teachers, made reports and presentations. The empirical approbation of the study was carried out and described. The results of the experiment are given in the article. Conclusions are drawn. Conclusions are drawn that research activity serves as an indicator of the quality of education in educational institutions of higher education.

Abstract
The work is devoted to one of the landmark events in the history of the Kursk State Medical University - the preparation and publication of the first collection of scientific papers, which marked the achievements of its scientists from 1935 to 1939. The article allows you to create an image of experimental and practical medical activities in the departments and serves as a concentrated appeal to memories of the first generation of faculty. The aim of the work was to form and preserve in the collective memory of future generations the history of the formation of Kursk medical schools.
