Abstract

Relevance. Identifying the relationship between interpersonal interaction attitudes and the perception of the organization by medical workers will allow adjusting work processes and interaction between employees of one organization for the effective implementation of assigned tasks.
Purpose. The study is to study the relationship between interpersonal interaction attitudes and the perception of the organization among medical workers of rehabilitation centers.
Materials and methods. To achieve the goal and objectives of this study, the following standard methods were used: the “Metaphor” method; the “Crosspiece” method; the “Express diagnostics of intragroup interaction attitudes" method; “Method of assessing effectiveness in the organization” based on the modification of the existing “360 degrees” method by P. Ward.
Results. It was revealed that the features of interpersonal interaction of a group of doctors, a group of nursing staff and a group of medical psychologists do not differ statistically significantly, workers with high awareness and leadership attitudes of interaction more often depict the organization (rehabilitation center) as a static, motionless image, workers with a high level of awareness tend to depict a neutral image of the organization, while the images of the organization of workers with a low level of awareness often have a negative emotional content. The higher the awareness, the higher the workers assess the organization's orientation to the market and the client and the higher they assess the innovativeness of the organization and the initiative of the working personnel.
Conclusions. Nursing staff and medical psychologists of the rehabilitation center more often resort to rivalry in the implementation of interaction than doctors. Doctors, in turn, more often use demonstrative and constructive attitudes of interaction. Medical workers with high awareness present the organization as a static, neutral image and note the organization's orientation to innovativeness and the needs of the patient. Medical workers with attitudes towards constructiveness, leadership and distancing note the high focus of the organization on intra-organizational problems.

Abstract

Relevance. Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) differ in the degree of manifestation not only among all representatives on the spectrum, but their difficulties, as well, vary depending on age. The continuous care for children with ASD distinctively affects the psychological health of parents, forcing them to face constant challenges.
Purpose. To establish the existence of a relationship between the characteristics of the life cycles of families raising children with ASD and the psychological problems of the parents
Materials and methods: psychodiagnostic testing, interviews, methods of statistical analysis, theoretical analysis of literature.
Results. Psychodiagnostic testing of parents (n= 21) using HADS and PSM-25 tests and statistical calculation of results using I Prob-Z test showed that 71% of families raising children with ASD have psychological problems related to stress, anxiety and/or depression caused by difficulties in raising a neurodiverse child (p = 0.02).
Correlation of test and interview results showed that the calmest period for the family of autistic children is the 2nd cycle, when the level of mental stress, anxiety and depression is minimal, which is associated with adaptation and accumulation of internal resource. The greatest stress falls on the 3rd life cycle, when children become adolescents and reach adulthood due to fears about the children's future or unmet expectations.
Conclusions. Identifying the patterns and complementarity of mental problems arising in different life cycles of the family, we claim the need to change the paradigm of assistance to families of children with ASD in favor of a cycle-oriented approach.

Abstract

Relevance. Broadcasting of inclusive public attitudes expands the boundaries of perception and interaction with people with disabilities and disabilities. The study of the meaningful characteristics of social representations among Russian respondents of different professional orientation, united by a common educational space of higher professional education, but living in regions with different territorial location, ethnic, cultural and religious characteristics, is in demand.
Purpose of the study is to study the cross-regional characteristics of students' social representations of various professional orientations about people with disabilities and people with disabilities.
Materials and methods. The research is based on the theory of social representations. The study involved students from Russian regions (Makhachkala, Izhevsk, Kursk) studying in various areas of professional training (medical care; social work; agroengineering). The total sample size is 758 respondents. Research methods: theoretical literature analysis, testing, content analysis.
Results. The respondents of both groups have similar phenomena: the presence of tolerant attitudes towards people with disabilities and the disabled; consistency in the content of the social level of social representations ("help", "care"; "support"); the presence of sympathetic associations in the core area of social representation ("pity"). Specific characteristics: the predominance of emotional associations in the content of social representations in groups of "non-specialists"; assessment of persons with disabilities and people with disabilities from the position of physical limitations - in groups of "specialists"; in multicultural groups, there is a predominance of statements reflecting the mental and behavioral activity of people with disabilities; in monocultural groups, there are statements reflecting their mental and communicative activity.
Conclusions. In general, the study revealed the presence of contradictory trends in respondents' social perceptions of people with disabilities: the presence of tolerance, sympathetic associations, and the need to form inclusive interaction skills, which may indicate not the stigmatization of respondents' social perceptions, but their shift from stigmatization to the pole of a positive attitude.

Abstract

Relevance. Adolescence is a vulnerable period when new relationships with the outside world and oneself are developing. At the same time, negative environmental factors have a particularly acute effect on self-esteem, self-perception, and the ability to build healthy social connections. One of these factors is bullying, which is becoming a serious problem for the psychological safety of adolescents.
Purpose. To identify the relationship between the indicators of bullying and the criteria of maladaptation in adolescence.
Methods and materials: theoretical analysis of literature; psychodiagnostic techniques (Methodology for identifying the “bullying structure” by E.G. Norkina; The scale of subjective well-being by G. Perue-Badu (adaptation by M. V. Sokolova); The bullying risk questionnaire (A.A. Bochaver, V.B. Kuznetsova, E.M. Bianchi, P.V. Dmitrievsky, M.A. Zavalishina, N.A. Kaporskaya, K.D. Khlomov); statistical processing of empirical data.
Results. A high level of bullying is closely associated with the mental maladaptation of adolescents. The results obtained confirm the complex relationship of roles in bullying with the psychological state of adolescents. Initiators, as a rule, demonstrate a low level of subjective well-being, however, the study showed that it is possible to increase their subjective well-being due to the aggression and control used to increase their status, which shows us the compensatory functions of aggression. Victims, in turn, adapt to unsafe conditions by avoiding contact, increasing their well-being, but at the same time it remains vulnerable. Disunity within the group increases insecurity and reduces the overall well-being of adolescents, which generally confirms the negative impact of bullying on mental adaptation. The results of the work can be used to develop effective preventive programs aimed at reducing the risk of bullying and improving the psychological health of adolescents.

Abstract

Relevance. Psychological well-being for students of pedagogical and creative specialties today is the basis for productive activity and the desire for self-realization and self-development.
Purpose: to study and conduct a comparative analysis of the levels of psychological well-being of two groups of students of pedagogical and creative specialties in the second year of study
Materials and Methods. For the study, we used the method of K. Riff "Scale of psychological well-being", as well as mathematical statistical processing using the nonparametric Mann-Whitney U criterion to identify significant differences between the levels of psychological well-being of students of pedagogical and creative specialties.
Results. A difference in the level of psychological well-being was revealed in the group of students of pedagogical and creative specialties. Students of creative specialties have an average level of psychological well-being, which we associate with the predominance of practical classes among students of creative specialties.
Conclusions. A more positive level among students of creative specialties is possible due to a better understanding and acceptance of themselves, awareness of their self-worth, which is easier to acquire during practical classes, which are practically absent among students of pedagogical specialties. Accordingly, they do not understand their capabilities, have doubts about their own strengths and fear of the profession.

Abstract

Relevance. In today's rapidly changing society, there is a growing need for a more comprehensive understanding of human mental processes. The rapid pace of life and increased demands on intellectual activity place a greater emphasis on mental performance and the ability to navigate and act quickly in complex and stressful situations. This may be influenced by the cognitive and stylistic abilities of individuals. Understanding the cognitive and stylistic characteristics of teenagers who play video games can contribute to more effective educational practices. Different cognitive styles may have different effects on how well individuals perform different tasks.
Purpose. The goal of this study is to identify the cognitive and stylistic features of active teenagers who play video games.
Materials and Methods. This study used a combination of methods, including theoretical analysis of scientific literature, surveys, psychological tests, and statistical analysis.
Results. An analysis of the study's results showed that active teenage gamers were characterized by certain cognitive styles. Specifically, field independence was found in 76% of the group, narrow range of equivalent was found in 72%, flexible cognitive style in 80%, and tolerance for uncertain experiences in 56%. On the other hand, teenagers who did not play computer games or were not interested in esports tended to have different cognitive characteristics. Dependence on benefits was seen in 72% of this group, wide range of equivalency in 68%, rigid cognitive style in 46%, and intolerance for uncertain experiences in 54%.
Conclusions. The study uncovered significant differences in cognitive styles between active gamers and non-gamers.

Abstract

Relevance. An analysis of the research results of various authors and their own research has shown that there is a need to expand the practice of including martial arts elements in working with students in physical education classes to form their competencies aimed at developing the ability to apply knowledge and skills of physical culture in order to effectively solve problems in social life and professional activity.
Purpose. To theoretically substantiate the model of competence formation by including elements of martial arts (judo) in physical education classes at the university.
Materials and Methods. This study is based on the provisions of the theory of the competence approach (V.I. Baidenko, E.F. Zeer, I.A. Zimnaya, A.V. Khutorskoy); personality-oriented approach (E.V. Bondarevskaya, I.S. Yakimanskaya, etc.); the concept of the formation of physical culture of personality (P.F. Lesgaft, V.K. Balsevich, V.I. Stolyarov); ideas of the theory of sportization of physical education (V.K. Balsevich, L.I. Lubysheva). In the course of the research, we used the following methods: theoretical analysis of literature, modeling method.
Results. We have developed a model for the formation of general cultural competencies of students by including elements of martial arts (judo) in physical education classes. The main purpose of the model is to describe the structure of the formation of students' competencies by including elements of martial arts (judo) in physical education classes. The conceptual justification for the development of this model is a competence-based approach, a personality-oriented approach, the concept of physical education, the concept of sportization of physical education. Organizational and methodological support includes a practice-oriented block (participation in competitions; sports-oriented events; participation in master classes with outstanding judoists of Kursk and the Kursk region); motivational and value block (application of the competitive gaming method; implementation of the symbols of judo ethics;); methodological block (physical training, technical-tactical training, training in judo techniques in sequence – from basic elements to individual techniques); theoretical and conceptual block (acquaintance with the peculiarities of the history of judo; the creation of the Kursk judo school; the specifics of the training process). The procedural block includes such forms of training organization as training sessions, competitive activities, individual and group work, independent work under the guidance of a coach. Traditional and active methods can be used as methods; methods of physical, technical, tactical, and psychological training. The components of the diagnostic block are the measurement of the dynamics of physical development indicators taking into account standards, medical indications, the dynamics of fitness indicators taking into account normative data, the results of pedagogical supervision, as well as the results of participation in competitive events; the dynamics of motivation indicators based on the results of psychological testing. Rating control involves assessment according to a point-rating system, taking into account the achieved level of knowledge in accordance with the requirements, demonstrated skills and abilities.
Conclusions. The results of the analysis of literary sources have shown that the scientific and practical basis for the implementation of the formation of students' competencies through the inclusion of elements of martial arts in physical education classes is supported by the scientific provisions of the competence approach, a personality-oriented approach, the concept of sportization of physical education. In our opinion, one of the effective ways to resolve this contradiction can be the developed model of formation of students' competencies by including elements of martial arts in physical education classes. The use of this sport is supported by the consideration of martial arts (judo) as translators of cultural norms and traditions in combination with modern norms and rules in the system of formation of a comprehensively developed personality. Through the application of various practices and the development of philosophical views and worldviews, the inclusion of elements of judo in physical education classes can be an effective means of forming students' competencies
