Abstract
This article is part of a large project by the employees of the Kursk State Medical University to perpetuate the memory of employees of past years who took part in the Civil War and / or the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The purpose of this article is to provide an opportunity for students and university staff to get acquainted with the biography and awards of the war years, laboratory assistant of the Department of Human Anatomy, Alexandra Ilyinichna Vovk. The relevance of this study lies in the need for civil and patriotic education of students, one of the means of which is search and local history work in the process of getting acquainted with the history of the formation and development of the Kursk State Medical University.
