Historical stages of development of the Yalta Scientific Phthisiological School: to the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the Yalta Clinical Tuberculosis Institute

Abstract
An overview of the activities of the scientific phthisiology and balneology school on the southern coast of Crimea, starting from the creation in 1922 of the Yalta Clinical Tuberculosis Institute is presented. Since 2020, the activities of the successor of “Academic Research Institute of Physical Methods of Treatment, Medical Climatology and Rehabilitation named after. I.M. Sechenov” is focused on the problem of rehabilitative treatment of patients who have felt COVID-19. The history of the Institute is an example of the persistence and constant desire of the team to preserve and increase the traditions of the national medical school.
