В статье рассматриваются особенности процесса обучения и воспитания студентов медицинских вузов в связи с формированием у будущих врачей идеала личности-врача и учёного. Показаны философские теории формирования идеала будущего, как цели нравственного самосовершенствования человека; рассматривается роль музеев медицинских вузов и истории медицины как важнейших средств формирования профессионального идеала и идеала общественных поступков, а также возможные направления развития музейной педагогики в медицинских вузах.

The article discusses the features of the process of teaching and educating students of medical universities in connection with the formation of the ideal of a personality - doctor and scientist in future doctors. Philosophical theories of the formation of the ideal of the future are shown as the goal of moral self-improvement of a person; the role of museums of medical universities and the history of medicine as the most important means of forming a professional ideal and the ideal of public deeds, as well as possible directions for the develop­ment of museum pedagogy in medical universities are considered.
